www.snopes2.com - There are lots of weird facts and Christmas myths we all vaguely remember on this decidedly nonreligious site for Generation X-mas-ers. Was Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer really invented by Montgomery Ward? Was Jesus really born on December 25th? And where did those yule logs and poisonous poinsettia plants come from, anyway? Find all the answers as well as witty and irreverent holiday commentary here. The articles may be few in number, but they are expansive, well-written and thoroughly researched.

www.happychristmas.com - This slick, seemingly simple site recalls holiday hilarity in its Castastrophes section. Remember when the cat ate all the tinsel and spent the next few days as a walking ornament of sorts? The Useless Gifts section will make you forget those ugly, too-small shirts with its lineup of partially eaten cookies, a pack of gum with a nickel taped to it, cheap underwear wrapped in toilet paper and Q-tips. After browsing these items, you might realize that fruitcake isn't such a bad gift.

www.claus.com - Pay a virtual visit to Santa's home in the North Pole. The colorful, snowy town features an Elf School, where kids can play games online to earn an elf diploma; a Toy Workshop, where you can make your own virtual toy "Mrs. Claus' Kitchen" of tasty recipes; and the Post Office, where you can send e-mail to Santa. The Santa Tracker keeps tabs on Santa's route on Christmas Eve. Visit the Naughty or Nice Archives for Santa's report on your behavior this past year.

This site is designed to provide a strictly spiritual alternative to the commercialization of one of our faith's most sacred times. You'll find no "Santa sites" here, and Frosty the Snowman is also unwelcome. Lots of links to other Christian sites.

The original lyrics for the song in German, "Stille Nacht", was written by Joseph Mohr and the melody was composed by Franz X. Gruber. Four beings live in that maze: Sniff and Scurry are mice - nonanalytical and nonjudgmental, they just want cheese and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it.
