If we know that doing something different might help the situation, not doing something different is called "stupid." The best reason why has never solved the problem. Often reasons why are understandable, however what is not understandable is why we feel the need to have our lives dominated by reasons why we didn't do something different instead of results. When we make the decision to go for results in our love relationships. . . that's the real moment we make a decision to grow and prosper. LoveNote for Lovers. . . For Singles Only - If a healthy love relationship seems to always escape you, change your strategy. Instead of looking for love, spend more of your time breaking through the barrier you have built around your heart that keeps love from finding you. This barrier represents the things you are doing that may need to be examined before the voice of your heart can speak the words necessary to bring the barrier down. The only way out of this dilemma is through the barrier. No one can do this for you. Manage your thinking to look at it as a bridge you must cross, not a cross you must bear. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Whenever you become angry you are given the choice to challenge the anger or to surrender to it. Anger loses its power and you are empowered each time you challenge it. You have the power to transform the energy of anger to a constructive experience of release; a letting go of an emotion that can stifle your potential for personal and spiritual growth. Relationship Humor
A newlywed left work one Friday afternoon but, being payday, rather than going home, he stayed out the entire weekend partying with the boys and spending his entire paycheck.
Finally appearing at home on Sunday night, he was confronted by a very angry wife and was barraged for nearly two hours with a tirade befitting his actions.
Eventually, his bride stopped the nagging and simply said to him, "How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?"
"That would be perfectly fine with me," he replied.
Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went with the same results.
By Thursday, the swelling had gone down just enough to where he could see her out of the corner of his right eye.
