LoveNote for Lovers. . . There is no victory without the willingness to risk setbacks or total defeat. Neither is there any conquest of unconditional love in a relationship without the sacred bond that comes from a total commitment to team. Unconditional love implies commitment and the mature exercise of wisdom. LoveNote for Lovers. . . To live peacefully together in a responsible way, we must learn to understand that we are only responsible for our own individual thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions and actions and never for those of our love partner. To neglect our own responsibilities in the relationship in favor of our love partner's responsibility is codependency. LoveNote for Lovers. . . When you feel a disagreement coming on, think twice or more, before you speak what you feel to your love partner. Angry words, once spoken, reverberate like bells in a cathedral steeple. Remember, you can't un-ring a bell. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Become a happiness enhancer. You can never make someone else happy. That is only and always their choice. You can, however, do things that enhance the happiness others' experience. Dream up a few happy and healthy ways to be that will turn your lover on to happiness. This calls for being creative with your thoughtfulness, being playfully attentive and caring enough to say, "I love you" for no other reason than you experience happiness when you express love in this random and thoughtful way.
