LoveNote for Lovers. . . Commitment is a deep trust, a devotion discovered in the choice to be together. Commitment needs no agreements because it is based on desire, not obligation. A forever love relationship requires devotion, loyalty and a mature ability to commit. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Committed love partners know it is wise to plan their time together. Go on a date. Talk about it. Plan it in advance. Don't wait until the last moment. Take turns planning these events. Lovers show their consideration for each other this way. To do otherwise is to take your togetherness for granted. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Affirmation - I know that if I want my love relationship to fulfill its purpose, I must enlighten my experience of it. I must drop judgments, pre-conceived notions, opinions, expectations, positions and beliefs about it. When I do this, a miracle occurs. The miracle that occurs is that the love relationship I have becomes the love relationship I want; the one that nurtures and supports me; the one that truly empowers my love partner and me. LoveNote for Lovers. . . It is never appropriate to suppress anger or to disregard how we really feel about it. When we feel anger, it is a very real feeling; at that moment, we have an intimate relationship with it. Anger is difficult to contain. When we are angry, we often feel a need to demonstrate it, talk about it and let people know that we are indeed angry. Only and always talking about it is not enough. Talking about it helps only if your intention is to seek to understand it or to find a way through it, not to justify it or hold on to it. A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. The next week, the man realized that he would need his wife to wake him at 5 a.m. for an early morning business flight to Chicago.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (AND LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5 a.m."
The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it was 9 a.m. and that he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't awakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.
The paper said, "It is 5 a.m. Wake up!"
