Q
|
What is the difference between a "love addiction" and being "in love?" When you love your
spouse. . . are you "addicted" or "in love"?
|
|
A
|
Someone who is addicted to love usually does not have a very high opinion of themselves. When they are
alone, they feel lonely. They consistently feel the "need" be in a relationship to feel loved. They are
dependent upon others for love.
Love begins within. The most important relationship you have is with yourself.
When you love your spouse. . . you love your spouse. It has little to do with being addicted to love.
Being addicted to love holds you a prisoner. Being in love sets you free.
