How long should I wait to see if my wife is going to love me again. She told me in May that she is not in
love with me. She has another man and they have told each other that they love each other. I had came
across her journal and read it in July. She said she desires him and not me. We are in couples counseling
now but I am really lonely and miss her love.
We have been married for 16 years. We are both 41. What should
I do. I don't know if she has slept with him, she told me she has not. I told her I love her to much to give
up and I have forgiven her. Even if she has slept with him I do not want to lose her.
What should I do?

You are wise to be in counseling. If the marriage can be saved, you must follow the advice of your therapist.
Begin to do what you did when you were first together. Pay attention to her needs. Yours too.
While the thought of being alone again must be devastating, you must do whatever you can to work to make
yourself the kind of man that deserves her love.
