Say "Thank You" to those who are helpful, thoughtful and supportive. It's good business to send a thank you for each referral you receive, even if the lead doesn't turn into business for you. To make it easy to say thank you, try these simple ideas.

• Get your business name printed on Thank You cards
• Keep Thank You cards handy, and always personalize them with a handwritten note
• Find special ways to say thanks, like sending e-cards, gift baskets, or gift certificates
• When planning your day, reflect on those things for which you are grateful, and when possible, make a phone call simply to express your gratitude!
