Special Postmarks for Lovers!

Special postmarks say, "I love you" because your partner will know that you extended some extra effort to make your greeting special.

NOTE: Hey guys! Remember, women love it when you pay attention to the "little things." Be sure to plan ahead on this idea. Send your card no less than 3 weeks in advance to be sure it arrives on time.

Valentine's Day is not the only time to utilize this service. Birthday, anniversaries and a card to say, "I love you" will work too.

Here's how:  If you are interested in using a special postmark cancellation, you should send all of your addressed and stamped Valentines (or gift cards) in a separate, stamped envelope to the Postmaster in the city of your choice.

Include a note asking for the special cancellation. The postal worker will open the envelope containing your pre-addressed and stamped card, remove your greeting card, cancel the stamp on the greeting cards you sent, and send them on their way. Other than the postage, this service is free. Be sure you pre-stamp your pre-addressed cards with the correct postage.
